Banksonhaus Bed and Breakfast

Banksonhaus is situated in the heart of the Washington Cascades at Snoqualmie Pass.  Centrally located for all types of outdoor adventures.  Conveniently located on the ski slopes of Summit East (Hyak) in the group of Summit @ Snoqualmie areas. Guests have access to the alpine or nordic trails from the back-door.  In the summertime, there is hiking out the back-door.   Banksonhaus is near the Pacific Crest Trail and is a welcoming respite from the adjures of the trail.

The Banksonhaus will send you out on your adventures with a hearty, satisfying breakfast.  Your breakfast might include freshly baked bread with homemade preserves, hearty eggs, seasonal fruit,  and our famous cinnamon rolls, with your choice of beverages.

You don’t have to be adventurous to stay at Banksonhaus.  You can just sit and relax.  The mountains provide an ever-changing experience in all seasons.

All of our suites have a large screen television (except the Willow Creek Glamping) and a private sitting area.  There is free WIFI internet service, but the remote location means that the internet is not always reliable.

We do all of our bookings through Air BnB so when you check room availability you will be redirected.

The Cedar Suite is on the second floor. There are two suites on the second floor, which share a deck.  There is a slope side view from your French doors & semi-private deck.  French doors open from your private, second-floor bedroom and sitting area, onto a semi-private deck.

Your private suite has a grand king-sized bed.  If you would prefer, we can exchange the king-sized bed for two extra-long twin beds, at no additional fee.

The slipcovered chairs provide comfortable viewing out the French doors, which open to the semi-private deck. Brew your first cup of coffee in your room, stroll out the french doors, and welcome the morning on your own time frame.

The room is en-suite, with shower and toilet in a private space, while the sink is available in the room.

The Birch Suite is on the second floor. There are two suites on the second floor, which share a deck.  French doors open from your private, second-floor bedroom and sitting area, onto a semi-private deck.

Your private suite has a grand king-sized bed nestled under the eaves. If you would prefer, we can exchange the king-sized bed for two extra-long twin beds, at no additional fee.

The suite is ensuite, with shower and toilet in a private space, while the sink is available in the room.

Built-in queen-sized bed creates a charming full sized window seat.   The room is cozy for a couple or an extremely comfortable room for a solo traveler.

This cozy room has a seating area so that you can relax in private.

The bathroom is right next door to your suite.

You can hear the hot tub from this room.

Fall asleep, out of doors, snuggled under a down duvet, nestled into a king-sized feather bed. The mattress heater keeps the bed toasty warm. You’ll drift off to sleep while stargazing & listening to the creek. Awaken to hummingbirds dancing above.

You will have access to the all of the common areas of the house, and the shared bathroom on the main floor.

There is a private seating area on the deck for that morning coffee.

We love living in the mountains, making new friends, helping others and sharing the world we love with others. We have been members of the ski patrol for well over 30 years. Sally and Harry are members of our local Search & Rescue organization and have an avalanche/search and rescue dog (Harry) in residence. In the summer we love working in our garden, relaxing at the lake, hiking in the surrounding mountains, and enjoy baking some of the best huckleberry pies in the late summer!  Love us, love our golden retriever.
